We are Vittoria and Alberto and we had the pleasure to meet joe in Beijing and visit the Great Wall with him. We would therefore leave a message describing our awesome tour to the Great Wall and Joe's astonishing preparation and kindness, in order to let people know about the great opportunity to visit Beijing and its surrounding with him.

Joe collected us and our two friends at the Metro station of Tiantongyuan North, in order to avoid Beijing traffic jam at 8am, and drove us with its comfortable SUV to visit a dream-like, quiet and peaceful part of the Great Wall between the overcrowded sites of Badaling and Mutianyu, roughly 1 hour far from Beijing. The landscape was awesome and breath-taking, we were the only tourist present there that day and Joe walked with us along the Wall explaining, with his enthusiasm and expertise, the origins and story of the Great Wall, helping us to climb up the most difficult steps and stopping to show us local vegetal and animal species. Afterwards, he brought us to have lunch at the roots of the Great Wall in a traditional farmer’s house, where we eat delicious, freshly prepared dishes. He was not just an excellent guide but also a very professional waiter! He drove us back to Beijing and stopped us at the same Metro Line giving us original handmade gifts and nice postcards. He finally suggested us to go see the Lama Temple in our way back to the hotel, another masterpiece which worths to see when visiting Beijing.

Joe has been a real discovery and made our time in the Chinese capital amazing and unforgettable. He speaks good English, which is also quite rare in China, he is reliable, funny and knowledgeable. His prices are honest for the high quality of the service offered, and his kindness and humor maximized our time in Beijing. We would deeply recommend Joe’s services to anyone who wishes to to have a bright glimpse of this fascinating city and its historical sites, and to spend some time in good company of a well prepared Chinese friend!! We would definitely look for his service in case we go back to Beijing.

Definitely, the best tour guide ever! Thumbs up for Joe and thanks for your great service and company!

This is the second time I have had the pleasure of being in Beijing with Joe Qiao. He is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet and spend time with. His knowledge of Chinese history and culture cannot be faulted and his English is excellent. Due to the Beijing traffic laws he uses his car one day and his brothers car the next. Both cars are really nice and clean and Joe is a very safe driver. My trip was organised by email and Joe responded within 24 hours to any email I sent.

As I have been to Beijing before, Joe and I visited both the less touristy sites of the Eastern and Western Tombs. We also visited the private cemetery where Pu Yi’s (the last Emporer) tomb is. I had two amazing days probably two of the best days holiday ever made special by Joe.

Bom passeio!
